Clarice MacDonald ’43, 93, beloved first child of Gerald J. and Gladys (Herrick) Mac Donald, was born March 17, 1923 at Gerry, New York. She passed over March 21, 2016. Clarice set the family academic and career standards, achieving honors and recognitions including BA with Honors, Seattle Pacific College (SPU) and Masters Degrees in both Mathematics and Science from the University of Washington. While a Mathematics Professor at SPC, Clarice was recruited by Boeing when they acquired their first digital IBM computer in 1953. She became a computer programmer, becoming the first female engineering supervisor at Boeing. To read the full obituary, click here.
