Donald M. Vorp ’57 (Religion & Philosophy) passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Merwick Care & Rehabilitation Center in Plainsboro, NJ. Born in Tarentum, PA, he resided in Plainsboro for the past 31 years. Mr. Vorp retired after 31 years from the Princeton Theological Seminary, where he served as the James Lenox Librarian. He was a former member of the American Theological Library Association, the American Library Association and the United Methodist Church of Cranbury. Don is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Vorp; one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Emily Vorp; one daughter, Debbie Vorp; one grandson, Alex Vorp; one sister, Melva Rahmann, and many nieces and nephews.
