Cindy is currently the Chief Executive Officer of a human service agency in Buffalo, NY. She has been with the agency for 5 years after spending 30 years in public education. In addition, she has had the privilege of speaking nationally on topics such as childhood and complex trauma, behavioral disturbance addiction and the intersection with the legal/mental health systems. Currently, one of her major responsibilities is oversight of a sub-acute psychiatric facility for individuals with mental health disorders and frequent contact with the criminal justice system. This entails consistent interaction with law enforcement as well as with the mental health system to address persistent challenges facing each in their responses to various crisis situations.
