Kyle Hobart

Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice

Kyle is currently an Assistant Director with the Department of Homeland Security where he is entering his 24th year of federal service. He has been assigned to six different offices in New York and Tennessee and a 4 ½ -year overseas assignment. He spent eight years conducting 237 criminal investigations leading to over 200 felony convictions with three of those years also spent on a local drug task force. He is the director of a local mentorship program and a mentee for the nation-wide DHS Mentoring Program that identifies emerging leaders to offer career advice and promote their career growth. Kyle is also a current PhD student studying Public Policy: Foreign Policy.
