Na Liu is currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at the City of Rochester. She started working on crime research about six years ago at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she lead several major local criminal justice research projects that focused on reducing homicides and gun violence. While working as the Crime Research Specialist at the Rochester Police Department, she developed an intelligence-analysis platform for the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) intelligence distribution. Throughout her career, Na’s visionary perspective in bringing data analysis and geo-spatial analysis into the intelligence field has earned her opportunities to work with law enforcement agencies, government officials, and leading researchers. Na wishes to share her knowledge in crime data analysis and geo-spatial analysis with the next generation of intelligence professionals.
