An Update on the Roberts Fund

The heart of fundraising is always our students. Every dollar of support helps them realize their professional and vocational aspirations and brings them closer to using their talents to serve the world.
Here are just a few of the wonderful foundations and scholarships that support our students and allow the College to provide them with a transformational education:

The Bob and Barbara McCord Foundation:

Established an endowed scholarship of $20,000 to support employees of Mary Cariola as they complete a degree through our Adult and Graduate Education programs.

The Gertrude E. Skelly Charitable Foundation:

Awarded $10,000 for Emergency Needs for Nursing Students. This scholarship provides critical support by enabling students to finish their degrees in the event of an unexpected need or when other financial aid has run out.

The Alvin F. & Ruth K. Thiem Charitable Foundation:

Provides scholarships for Nursing majors. The Foundation awarded $15,000 in support this year.

A Hope and a Future:

Established by an anonymous donor and friend to the College as a renewable $5,000-per-year award that helps a student who would not otherwise be able to afford and attend Roberts. The donor generously extended an additional award for the next academic year.

The Max and Marian Farash First in Family Scholarship:

Provides a full four-year scholarship to one student each year and is targeted to students who are the first in their families to attend college. The foundation recently extended the award for several more academic years.
