Roberts Wesleyan University is proud of our freshmen in the Global Honors Program for freshmen. It prepares students to be globally minded, develops cultural humility, and allows students to start the practice of Christ-like service. Courses within the program allow students to explore beyond the classroom with experiential learning, and the program culminates in an on-location course where students apply their cultural understanding in an international setting.
Thomas Lampanaro, Class of 2021, has this to say about the Global Honors Program: “The Global Honors Program has shown us students that being globally-minded requires humility and the willingness to learn continuously. Our story is not all there is to know. We can each strive to grasp a portion of the stories of others: those with which we disagree, those who live across the world, and those who are knocking at our door. Do not consider it just an option presented to us amidst a series of lectures and experiences. Understand it is a Christian calling.”
