Milton E. Dickens ’57 (Business Administration) age 86, of Venice, FL, passed away on September 13, 2017. Born in Ithaca, NY on February 11, 1931 to William and Twila Dickens, he came to the Venice area 18 years ago from Fairport, NY. Milt served in the US Army during the Korean War.  A graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College and he worked for Travelers Insurance before retiring. His passions include his family, golf, baseball, fishing and hunting. He was an active community servant. Survived by his wife, Gerri; son Kevin (Julie Dickens); daughter Lisa Jackson; grandchildren Henry, Aimee, Brady, Lilly, Meredith, Garland, and Chase; sister Joyce Hermanson; and brother Roger Dickens. He was preceded in death by his brother Leland Dickens. A celebration of Milt’s life will be scheduled for a later date in Venice. He will be interred at Sarasota National Cemetery.
