Alumni Spotlight: Israela "Izzy" Groves'20 (Biology)
Former women's soccer player Israela Groves from Pickering, Ontario, Canada was featured in a story in The Pursuit (March 2021 issue), as well as on the cover! At Roberts Wesleyan College, Groves wore the No. 10 jersey and served as an all-conference midfield playmaker and team captain for the Redhawks women's soccer team from 2016-2019.
Roberts Wesleyan College Head women's soccer coach, Sarah McClellan was able to catch up with Groves about her professional soccer career.
