Ben Espinoza

Ben Espinoza, Associate Vice President for Online Education, was a panelist at Tech Rochester's Leadership Summit on June 16. The 30-minute session discussed the topic of Higher Education at a Crossroad. Espinoza addressed resilience in online education, the need to develop new programs to meet the needs of adult learners, and why imagination is so critical in fostering resilience.

Moreover, the resiliency of education systems all over the world is being tested. They responded to how the experiences, expectations, and needs of students and faculty will need to change in the coming years and how higher education institutions and programs evolve as a result.

The other two panelists were:

  • Jenna Sadue, Head of Teaching & Learning Technologies Instructional Designer, Nazareth College
  • Todd Oldham, Vice President, Monroe Community College
