Roberts Welcomes Audiences Back for 2021-2022 Performing Arts Season
Following a year of health and safety-related restrictions impacting the performing arts community, the Roberts Wesleyan College Cultural Life Center is pleased to welcome audiences back in person for its 2021-2022 series of live performing arts events. The fall and spring semester performance season, which is open to the public, features a range of events spanning live theatre, music, dance and more. The lineup currently consists of the following performances:
All Together Now!: November 12, 2021 at 7 p.m.
- Roberts Wesleyan College Community Theatre (RWCCT) will join thousands of theatrical organizations around the globe producing their own local production of Music Theatre International (MTI)’s All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre. MTI created this revue for theatres across the globe to use as a fundraising event performed over the same weekend. The cast includes former RWCCT members, Roberts Wesleyan College students and performances by Gates Chili School District, Churchville Chili School District and Allendale Columbia.
- Tickets are $10 each and are available for purchase online.
Christmas Gala: December 11, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. & December 12, 2021 at 3 p.m.
- Usher in the season with your favorite songs and carols, performed by the Roberts Wesleyan College instrumental and vocal ensembles. 100% of the proceeds go to music student scholarships.
- Tickets are $20 for general seating and can be purchased online; children 12 and under are free.
The Nutcracker: December 17-18, 2021 at 7 p.m. & December 18-19, 2021 at 2 p.m.
- The college will host the New York State Ballet to present its holiday classic, The Nutcracker. The beloved holiday tradition is complete with a live orchestra, lavish sets and costumes and an abundance of spirited dancing.
- Tickets range from $15-$65 and can be purchased online or by calling 855-222-2TIX (2849).
Hello, Dolly!: January 14, 15, 21, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. & January 16, 22, 23, 2022 at 2 p.m.
- RWCCT is pleased to welcome audiences “back where they belong” for this blockbuster Broadway hit that bursts with humor, romance, high-energy dancing and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history.

“The 2021-2022 performing arts season also happens to mark the 25th anniversary of the Cultural Life Center at the college,” said Brenda Myrthil, director of community events at Roberts Wesleyan College. “We’re thrilled to once again welcome the general public, students and families back in person this season to commemorate this significant milestone and celebrate being in community with one another to enjoy the artist achievements and talents of each performance.”
All events will be produced and performed in compliance with the college’s COVID-19 policies. Campus guests and visitors will be required wear a mask at all times when indoors and attending a performance in the Cultural Life Center.
