Roberts Wesleyan Choirs to Perform Concert Oct. 30
The Roberts Wesleyan’s Chorale, Men’s Choir, and Women’s Choir is pleased to announce their first in-person concert of the year. The program features diverse choral repertoire in a prism-style concert.
The concerts will feature a number of pieces in different languages and styles that all contribute to the diversity of the program. "We are thrilled to be bringing live music to our community again," said Dr. Adam Potter, conductor. "The groups have come together this past year through their faith, fellowship, and love of music and are excited for this special evening."
The concert will be held in Andrews. B. Hale Auditorium in the Howard Stowe Cultural Life Center on campus on Saturday Oct. 30 a, at 7:30p.m. Tickets are free and this event is open to the public, Seating is by general admission; doors will open at 7:00p.m..
The Roberts Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Adam Potter, is an auditioned ensemble of 36 students representing a variety of academic majors, states and countries. The Women’s Choir and the Men’s Choir, are also under the direction of Dr. Potter, with assistance from students Sandra Godwin, Ruth Haldeman and Gabriel Algarin. These ensembles are non-auditioned, and also featuring a wide range of academics majors, all with a common desire to create meaningful musical experiences.
