Roberts Announces Lineup of 2021-2022 Concerts and Recitals
The Roberts Wesleyan College Department of Music and Performing Arts is pleased to announce this year’s lineup of student concerts and recitals. The department is eager to welcome audiences back in person for the 2021-2022 season and students are currently busy preparing for ensemble and individual performances. Here are the anticipated student concerts and recitals coming soon to the Howard Stowe Roberts Cultural Life Center:
Ensemble performances:
- Christmas Gala: December 11, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. & December 12, 2021, at 3 p.m.
- Wind Ensemble Concert: March 5, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
- Chorale Concert: March 11, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
- Roberts Wesleyan College-Community Orchestra Concert: March 12, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. The Concerto Aria Competition Winners will perform at this concert.
- Chamber Prism: March 15, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
- Honors Band & Chamber Choir: March 19, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.
- Women’s Choir & Men’s Chorus: April 1, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.

“The students and faculty are excited to be back performing in person once again,” said Dr. Paul Shewan, interim chair of the department of music and performing arts. “After a year of virtual recordings and performances, we are looking forward to engaging audiences once again to share the love of Christ through music.”
All events will be produced and performed in compliance with the college’s COVID-19 policies. Campus guests and visitors will be required to wear a mask at all times when indoors and attending a performance in the Cultural Life Center. Concerts will also be live streamed from the department’s Facebook page.
