Make the Most of Your Campus Visit!
Get rewarded in more ways than you think
Some things you just can’t find on Google. Visiting is the best way to truly get a sense of life at Roberts.
According to Jack Saia'22 (Psychology), a student tour guide, “Videos and pictures of Roberts are great, but they don’t compare to the real thing. The best way to get a feel of what campus is like is by visiting.”
The College has planned a fully customizable experience to fit every visitor’s individual needs. Faculty and staff members alike are looking forward to helping each student and their family. Visiting will inform and empower prospective Traditional Undergraduate students as they navigate the admissions process and choose the school that is best for them.
When designing their customized visit, a student may choose as many of the following activities as they want:
- Touring campus with a current student
- Talking to an Admissions Counselor
- Meeting a professor or coach
- Meeting someone in Financial Aid
- Attending class or Chapel
- Eating lunch in Garlock Dining Commons
Coming to campus is rewarding in more ways than one. Any high school or prospective transfer student whose visit includes any three of those activities will automatically receive a $100 gift card (Target or Amazon) as a thank you.
Kimberley Wiedefeld, Vice President of Enrollment Management, wishes the best for prospective students visiting Roberts.
“I hope students leave Roberts seeing a place where they can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. A place that will invest in them and give them the tools to not only become excellent in their discipline and chosen career but also to become the kind of person this world desperately needs: a bridge-builder. The kind of neighbor, citizen, a leader who can bring opposing voices together, find common ground, and move forward to meet the world in need.”
If a family is not interested in a customized tour, their student has the opportunity to receive a gift card by attending an Admissions event.
Alyssa Kear’22 (Childhood and Special Education) shares her testimony as a student. “I chose to attend Roberts because I was looking for a college where I would be more than a number. I wanted a school where people genuinely care about me, my success, and my faith.”
Kear said she became a tour guide because she loved showing prospective students all that Roberts offers. “I love campus! I am passionate about showing others how they can fall in love with the campus and imagine themselves calling it home, just like I did. Whether they live near or far, coming to campus is worth it because you’ll experience the feel of a loving Christian community and a challenging academic atmosphere all in one.”
Wiedefeld sends a closing message to anyone considering visiting.
“You can read about and see beautiful photos and videos of many campuses, but when you step foot onto Roberts' campus, you will get a deep sense of the quality of our faculty and facilities, as well as a sense of the community here. Visiting campus is your chance to see why Roberts is the place to bring your greater story to light.”
