Senior Plans After Graduation: Maria Lazarus'22 (Psychology and Biology)
By Athalie Fiegl ’22 (Communication)
What is your major?
Psychology with a minor in Biology.
What are you doing after graduation?
I'll be taking a gap year or two to gain more experience and prepare for the GRE. During this time I hope to become more assimilated to my new community and become more involved in pouring into it.
Do you have a long-term plan beyond what you’re doing right after graduating?
I hope to pursue further education to better equip myself to serve a community in need. In doing so, I hope to grow my skill set, especially within the field of psychology, to work more intently with individuals. I hope to provide not only direct support, but also hope to work on project-based initiatives that aim to tackle issues seen within society.
What are you excited about in this next chapter?
I am excited to see where and how God continues to grow me. I look forward to putting what I've learned during my four years at Roberts to work. In doing so, I want to lean into the experiences to come, look forward to realizing what I don't yet know, and continue seeking avenues of understanding.
Who is someone who inspires you?
Michelle Obama is one of the most inspirational figures that I can think of. Her tenacity, wisdom, care, ability, etc. never ceases to inspire and encourage me.
