Alumni Spotlight: Jermaine Barber'21

This alumni spotlight shines on a teacher and talented hip-hop dancer! In May, Jermaine Barber'21 (Master of Education), appeared on So You Think You Can Dance. Barber, who is a krump and praise dancer, is a 7th grade English teacher in the Sodus Central School District. After hearing his story, one judge described him as an inspirational teacher.

"You can do anything you put your mind to," Barber said to encourage his students.

Barber has a YouTube channel about dancing which he gives God the praise.

In the end, he didn't make it through, however Roberts celebrates this gifted alumni, educator and dancer!
