Alumni Spotlight: Corey Hepburn'14, '12
Leading to Impact Learning and the Diverse Needs of All
Corey Hepburn'14, '12 (Master of Education in Special Education, Pathway to Teaching) will be the principal at Odyssey Academy in the Greece Central School District effective July 1. In this role, Hepburn will focus on relationship building and cultivating a culture of engagement and investment. Previously, he was a principal in the Rochester City School District at Clara Barton School No. 2.
Hepburn has was also previously recognized as New Teacher of the Year for his focus on the development of healthy relationships and differentiating his instructional practices to support all students. “The hiring committee comprised of teachers, support staff members, parents, students, and administrators helped to select Mr. Hepburn,” said Greece Superintendent Kathleen Graupman. “They saw him as the perfect fit because he is incredibly thoughtful, hardworking, and personable.”
True to the Roberts motto "Education for Character," Hepburn strives was previously recognized as New Teacher of the Year for his focus on the development of healthy relationships and differentiating his instructional practices to support all students.
“I see parts of myself in every child and I use my unique perspective to make connections that ultimately impact learning,” Hepburn said. “I am committed to supporting a culture of learning in Odyssey that targets the diverse needs of all.”
