The Women's Triathlon program was launched this fall at Roberts. Watch this video to learn about the coaches and hear from the student-athletes.
 
It may be one of the newest sports, but that isn't holding the team back from finding success this season and getting an NCAA National Qualifier in the inaugural season. Brett VanBoden is headed to Tempe, Arizona on Nov. 11 as the grad student has qualified for the Women's Collegiate Triathlon Championships.

"Having Brett qualify this first season is so exciting," said head coach Stephanie Barbero. "Her hard work all season has led to significant improvements in each of the three disciplines. We had high expectations for our athletes from day one, but being our first season we didn't know what to expect. Coach Tom and I are thrilled to have Brett competing at nationals and representing Roberts Wesleyan."
