Hayles and Zager were able to see first-hand the services Mary Cariola Center provides for special education students and people with disabilities. They were able to interact and have discussions with the staff and students and learn about educational interventions and strategies. "We also had the opportunity to hear from alumni about how transformational their Roberts experience was in preparing them for their continued success at Mary Cariola," said Zager. "Mary Cariola's leadership expressed their gratitude for Roberts providing educational opportunities for their employees that aren't offered by other regional higher educational institutions, especially with a focus on working with students with special needs." Mary Cariola employees are currently enrolled and have graduated from the university's programs including Pathway to Teaching and Master of Social Work.
