13 WHAM Bright Spot Shines on Student-Athletes for Doing Good in the World
Roberts Wesleyan University student-athletes led a fundraising effort for the Ugandan Water Project, which raised more than $13,000 to build three water wells in Uganda and provide fresh water to communities in need.
The Ugandan Water Project was founded by James Harrington '97 (Religion & Philosophy) and Roberts student-athletes have consistently supported this effort to impact others through clean drinking water.
The Redhawks were recently recognized as the NCAA DII Award Winner for their service to others.
