Student Spotlight: Sydney Hvizdak (Communication) Participated in Tom Hope Memorial Media Scholar Program
Senior Sydney Hvizdak '24 (Communication) was interviewed by 13 WHAM over the weekend while participating in the Tom Hope Memorial Media Scholar Program. Hvizdak and six other area college students received expert feedback on clips of their video productions.
"I had this idea to make a documentary about my mom and her half-sister and after that the idea came to life," said Sydney Hvizdzak, communications major, Roberts Wesleyan University. "I found out my professor nominated me and I made it happen." She was nominated by Associate Professor of Art Romy Hosford based on her work in the studio.
Hvizdak is from Little Valley, N.Y.She played on the Women's Basketball team for the 2022-2023 season.
