In a powerful collaboration between the nursing, social work, and criminal justice programs, students pursuing careers in healthcare were given a unique opportunity to practice their skills in a safe, controlled environment. With the help of volunteer actors portraying a range of medical emergencies, from severe traumas to critical injuries and psychological needs, the university ran two live simulations, allowing students to assess and address real-time scenarios under the guidance of faculty supervision.
