Jessica Coleman ‘17 (Organizational Management) recently started a new position as the Director of Recruiting at Roberts Wesleyan University. Previously she was the Director of Diversity and Belonging at Roberts.

Jason Pulver ’18 ’22 (Business Administration, Strategic Leadership, M.S.) started a new position as Development Director at Grand Staircase Escalante Partners!

Shawn Cervini ‘16 (Marketing) was promoted to Senior E&S New Business Account Manager at The Hartford. He’s been with The Hartford since 2018.

Tim Davidson ‘15 (Cross Disciplinary Studies) is the VP of Marketing and Founder of B2B Rizz since Jan. 2024. He started B2B Rizz to help marketing teams turn their Account Based Marketing into a revenue-generating machine with LinkedIn ads.

Taylor Rawson ‘18 (Communication) was recently promoted to Growth Marketing Manager at RxVantage. She has been with RxVantage since 2022.

Bethany Welch '00 (Art-Graphic Design) professed first vows as a Sister of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia on February 25, 2024. Several alumni attended the liturgy and celebration, including Stephanie Prevosti '00 (Art Education), Jessie Spressart '00 (History), and her brothers Daniel Welch '05 (Music Performance-Voice) and Kyle Welch '08 (Management). Sister Bethany is now serving as the director of a transitional housing program for college students experiencing homelessness and conducting a national research study on this model through a fellowship from Villanova University.

 

Jeanette Burk ‘96 ‘09 (Criminal Justice and Psychology, Strategic Marketing M.S.) started a new position as Communication Manager at YWCA of Rochester and Monroe County.

Women of Excellence

Five remarkable alumnae were honored as Rochester Business Journal's 2024 Women of Excellence, a testament to their extraordinary achievements and contributions. Congratulations to Cheryl Repass '85 (Elementary Education), Lucia Colindres-Vasquez '17 (Health Administration, M.S.), Daniele Lyman-Torres '06 '07 (Organizational Management, Strategic Leadership, M.S.), Sharon Marble '04 (Management, M.S.), and Miriam Moore '11 '14 (Organizational Management, Strategic Leadership, M.S.). We are immensely proud of these servant leaders who have utilized their God-given talents to make contributions to the community and beyond.

Jeff Wilson ‘95 (Music Education) was chosen as River Dell High School’s Bergen County Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 academic year. He has been the Head of Music for River Dell Regional School District in New Jersey since 2018.

Jacqui (Kemp) Stack ‘13 (Marketing) assistant director of marketing for Auxiliary Services at RIT recently received an Excellence Award. This award recognizes staff members who excel in their duties, promote teamwork, and inspire excellence in others. She has been with RIT since July 2021. Read the story.

Justin Niebel ‘06 (Business Administration) received the Spectrum Enterprise President’s Circle 2023 Award. The awards event was held in April in California. Niebel is a Manager at Spectrum Enterprise in Network Security and Voice Services. He is also on the Board of Trustees for Roberts Wesleyan University!

Georgia Haverlock ‘23 (Marketing) received first-team honors from the Rochester USBWA chapter for the 2023-24 season. Haverlock, who is currently a graduate student in the Strategic Leadership program at Roberts, was named to the Rochester chapter of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association First Team. CELEBRATING MUSIC

Jaclyn Breeze and Laura Freeman Smile

Jaclyn Breeze ‘21 (Music Performance - Flute) and Laura Freeman ‘21 (Music Performance - Piano) performed together at the Eastman Museum in February. Their performance included selections from baroque, romantic, contemporary, and jazz music. Breeze earned a master’s degree in Composition from Syracuse University and Freeman received an M.M. in Collaborative Piano from Syracuse University.

Freeman made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2022 in a concert representing Syracuse University. She was also selected to attend the Opera Viva! Young Artists Program in Verona, Italy in 2022 and the Professional Piano Program at SongFest 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.
