Roberts Wesleyan University Partners with the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship to Provide Student Housing

Sittig Hall at Roberts Wesleyan University

Roberts Wesleyan University will help provide housing for Golisano Institute students starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Students attending Golisano Institute will have the opportunity to live in Sittig Hall on the Roberts Wesleyan University campus.

Living in the dorm will include a meal plan with flex dollars. The rooms are single-occupancy with a shared bathroom for four people. As part of the agreement, students will have access to several Roberts housing amenities, including free laundry, wi-fi, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and stove. Students will also be able to use the athletic facilities, intramurals, music programs, and on-site health care. For students who require transportation, a shuttle will be offered to and from the Golisano Institute campus center twice a day.

“By partnering with Roberts to provide dorm housing, we’re removing a potential educational barrier for those students who need housing but are also looking to obtain a high-quality business education through the Golisano Institute,” said Ian Mortimer, President, Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. “It also provides the opportunity for a traditional on-campus living space for students who might be interested in having that experience.”

Golisano Institute also partners with Roberts to offer students a path toward earning their bachelor’s degree after graduation. Golisano graduates are awarded credits towards advanced academic credentialing at the University, which can be used to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Business Management, Business Marketing, or Health Administration degree at Roberts Wesleyan University.

"The Golisano Institute's partnership with Roberts Wesleyan University empowers students to maximize their business education, placing them more than halfway to a bachelor's degree. This innovative pathway opens doors to advanced careers in business and health administration," said Rupert A. Hayles Jr., president of Roberts Wesleyan University. “The in-depth knowledge that graduates learn from Golisano Institute combined with a bachelor’s degree from Roberts better prepares them to impact the world beyond their degree."
