CAREER MOVES
Meg ’07, M ’15 (Communication, Strategic Marketing), and Bob ’07 (Religion & Philosophy) Hartman celebrated the grand opening of AltBar, in North Winton Village, on Oct. 5. They will also be hosting thriving nights on Wednesdays at 6. p.m. Read the story
Stephanie Friel ‘14 (Mod RN) is a Family Nurse Practitioner with UR Thompson Health. She recently joined The Mary Clark Thompson Family Practice, an affiliate of F.F. Thompson Hospital. Friel started at F.F. Thompson Health as a nurse assistant, later becoming a floor nurse and then a charge nurse. She was the nurse leader of a medical/surgical unit from 2008 through 2015. She served for the past, seven years as the quality improvement coordinator for the department.
Chief Human Resource Officer Brenda Dysinger ‘95 (Psychology & Social Work) of Seneca Gaming Corporation was named one of this year’s C-Level Award winners by Buffalo Business First. She has over 23 years of experience in Human Resources for the gaming industry.
Kathryn Pagliaroli ‘01 (Nursing) was promoted to chief operating officer at Oswego Health. She will add this new role to her current responsibilities as senior vice president and chief nursing officer.
Ashley Amidon ‘18 (Business Administration) started a new job at Unicon Rochester, a partnership of unions and management leaders representing greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes Region organized construction industry, as a Communication Director. Previously she was a Store Leader at Maurices women’s clothing store.
AWARDS
Lindsay Mwene ‘11 (Management and Social Entrepreneurship), M ‘20 (Strategic Leadership), and Jae Newman M ‘15 (Theological Studies, Northeastern Seminary) received the Rodney K. Sisco Diversity Students’ Choice Award for their outstanding commitment to the Kingdom, diversity, mercy, justice, love, and unity in the body of Christ. The award was presented at the “Beyond Conference: Compassion & Conviction That Goes Beyond Self,” which was hosted on campus Oct. 6-7.
