Patricia Pilarski Weise ’76 (Social Work), passed away on November 9, 2018 at home. Born December 19, 1952 in Buffalo NY, she was the daughter of the late Raphael & Jeanette Pilarski. She married Craig A. Weise on September 11, 1982. Patti was a dedicated Emergency Medical Social Worker who worked at St. Mary’s Hospital, Strong Memorial & Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. She graduated from Pittsford High School, from Roberts Wesleyan with a BSW & was a member of the first class from Roberts Wesleyan to earn a MSW. She was a founding member of Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance & an Emeritus member of Henrietta Volunteer Ambulance where she served as Dispatcher, Medic, Driver, Advanced Life Support Provider & was on the Board of Directors. She also worked for Gates Ambulance & Southeast Quadrant MCCU. As an EMT, ALS instructor/evaluator & Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Patti was a founding member of the Monroe-Livingston Critical Incident Debriefing team & taught about critical incident stress & emergency mental health. She was a researcher in Field Termination. Patti was an avid Bills fan, a love she got from her father.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Craig & caring son David; sister Claire (Robert) Henrichs of Lisbon, Portugal; brothers Mark (Darlene) Pilarski of Rush, NY & Timothy (Jeanine) of Priest River, ID; along with godsons Colin Pilarski & Collen Bowen; nephews Adam Pilarski, Alex Pilarski, Timothy Pilarski & niece Melissa Henrichs; step-son James (Rya) Weise of Gates, NY & grandchildren Brandon, Nathan & Ella Rose Weise of Chili, NY. Patti was predeceased by her father Raphael Pilarski; mother Jeanette Pilarski; godson Jason Skwieralski & her beloved dog, Bentley.
