The Rev. Dr. Bradley J. Donahue ’76 (Religion-Philosophy) retired January 1, 2019 from Lorain Christian Temple Disciples of Christ, Lorain, Ohio where he served for twenty-three and one half years and is the longest serving pastor of that church.

Dr. Donahue began his ministry at Roberts as a youth pastor at the Spencerport First Congregational Church. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Colgate Rochester Divinity School and his Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with standing in the United Church of Christ. He has served churches in East Aurora, NY, North Olmsted, Ohio and Lorain, Ohio.

He is married to Gayle Donley Donahue (class of 76, Nursing). They have three adult children and four grandchildren. On the occasion of his retirement Dr. Donahue was honored with proclamations from the Ohio Senate, the Ohio Assembly, the City of Lorain, the City of Avon Lake, and the Ohio Attorney General among others. Wendy Walker Cunningham (class of ’76, Social Work) and her husband Bob attended the retirement celebrations. The Donahue’s reside in Avon Lake, Ohio.
