When someone says they’re studying history, you might think of dull textbooks or exams. That’s not what you’ll do at Roberts. Instead, you’ll study who we are as human beings.

Why do we make the decisions that we do; what informs our values, faith, and culture? Those are the questions you’ll answer here.

Develop highly transferable skills for nearly any career path through analytical thinking, research skills, ethics, and education for character. You’ll also be prepared for graduate education in Teacher Ed, Law, Library Sciences, Museum and Archival Studies, and more.

One of my favorite things about my History degree is the career flexibility it offers. Right now, while my aspiration is to become a constitutional lawyer, I know that if I wake up tomorrow and change my mind, my major will help me find a new career path.

Since my graduation in May 2022, I have also served in the position of Graduate Fellow for Rochester’s mayor and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. I’ll be attending Canisius University for Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration, M.S.
