Usually, the path to becoming an ordained minister starts with getting a bachelor’s degree.
The next step is to attend seminary to get a Master (or even Doctorate) of Divinity degree.
While pursuing your education, you’ll typically undergo the ordination process in the denomination you are aspiring to be a minister in. This can involve an ordination paper, a statement of faith, a testimony, a background check, and more.
Once you complete this, you’ll obtain your ordained ministry license.
