Homeschool Students

Welcome, homeschoolers!

Roberts Wesleyan University is proud to say almost 10% of our Undergraduate students come from a homeschooling background. We made this page just for you because we’d love to see more homeschoolers follow their one-of-a-kind calling at Roberts.

How to Apply

Roberts accepts the Common App and the Roberts Rapid App. Apply here!

Need help with your high school transcripts? We love this HSLDA resource!

  • Have you earned at least 12 college credits? You don’t need to submit any scores! But you still can, if you want to.
  • If you haven’t earned at least 12 college credits, you have to submit at least one of the following test scores.
    • Classic Learning Test (highly recommended!)
    • ACT
    • SAT

  • Recommended for students who feel as if their test scores don’t reflect who they are
  • This provides your Admission Counselor with a better understanding of areas of growth in your personal life, unique challenges you have overcome, and things you were involved in you forgot to mention that may lead to further scholarship opportunities.
  • Cannot be a parent - should be an adult who’s played a positive, significant role in your life, such as a pastor, mentor, or coach.

Recommendation form

Homeschooled students interested in the Global Honors Program will need a high school GPA of 3.8 and ONE of the following:

  • A college transcript with a minimum of 12 credits and 3.5 GPA
  • The following test scores: 1200 SAT, 25 ACT, or 78 CLT

College Credit

If you are completing any dual-enrollment courses (college-level courses that you want to use for both high school and college credit), please indicate the name of the college on your Application for Admission.

Your dual enrollment coursework should also be included on your high school transcript.

To determine transfer credit, we will also need an official college transcript from that institution.
