This program is designed for students who attend Roberts Wesleyan College for two years and then transfer to a professional program in engineering or some other field requiring a solid foundation in mathematics and the physical sciences.

Overall and major GPA of 2.0; no grade less than C- in the major.

Application to the Major:
Standard institutional major application should be submitted by the beginning of the sophomore year. A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 is required for acceptance to the major.
Major Requirements: 36 hours as follows:
- 8 hours of chemistry with supporting labs: CHM 111, 112;

12 hours mathematics: MTH 281, 282, 283;
- One computer science course: CSC 140;
- 12 hours physics: PHY 201, 202, 203;
- Recommended courses: CSC 180, MTH 301, PHY 211.
Other courses may be recommended by the academic advisor, depending on the transfer program for which the student is preparing.
