Overview

The programs housed in the Department are tailored specifically and uniquely to provide the answer to challenges faced by adults as they integrate attainment of their educational goals with their commitments to family, profession, and community.

The following programs are available:

Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management

Since 1986, Roberts has provided non-traditional education options for adults over age 25 with careers and families who aspire to earn a bachelor's degree.  The B.S. in Organizational Management is a degree completion program offered in a convenient format so that working adults can attain their educational goals through coursework in management theory and systems, finance, organizational dynamics, statistics, organizational change, effective communication, and contemporary issues.  Students can earn their degrees in as little as fifteen months, attending class one evening per week.  The degree program continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the students and the workplace.  Additional information about this program is available at http://www.roberts.edu/degree-completion/programs/organizational-management-bs.aspx or by calling 585.594.6210.

Pathway Program

The Pathway Program was developed as the complementary support component of the degree completion programs at Roberts.  Pathway provides opportunities for adult learners over age 25 to satisfy credit requirements for the Organizational Management and Health Administration programs.  Courses are offered in a five-week accelerated format on week nights and Saturdays.  These courses serve as an excellent introduction to non-traditional learning.  For additional information about this program, contact the program office at 585.594.6905 or view the website at http://www.roberts.edu/non-degree-courses-and-certificates/pathway-program.aspx.

Bachelor of Science in Health Administration

This program is designed for health care workers over age 25 from across the health care industry.  Clinical and non-clinical employees who hold an A.A. or A.A.S. degree in health and human service related professions will find the curriculum suited to their personal and professional needs.  The curriculum takes a system-oriented, broad approach to health administration that can be applied in any health care organization.  The program will provide a rich, diverse learning environment where clinical and business workers from across the health care spectrum can study and learn together and from one another.  Additional information about this program is available at http://www.roberts.edu/degree-completion/programs/health-administration-bs.aspx or by calling 585.594.6210.

Master of Science in Health Administration

Clinical and non-clinical health care professionals can earn an M.S. in Health Administration in eighteen months, attending class one night a week.  The curriculum is an innovative and contemporary blend of health administration and business course work and focuses on community-minded service leadership.  At the end of the program, students have the opportunity to interact with local health care executives in a consultation activity designed to provide the health care organization with answers to questions, research data, opportunity exploration, or project development, creating a vibrant opportunity for students to apply their knowledge through service to the community and the health care organization.  Additional information about this program is available at http://www.roberts.edu/graduate/programs/health-administration-ms.aspx or by calling 585.594.6210.
