Repeating Courses

A student may repeat any course for which the grade is lower than B-. Note: Federal student aid recipients may not count repeat course credits toward their full-time enrollment total unless retaking the course is required to meet program or institutional expectations.

When a course has been repeated, the most recent grade is the one used to calculate the grade point average. If, however, a student withdraws from a course that they are repeating (during the appropriate withdraw period) the grade from the previous time the course was taken will continue to be calculated into the credits and gpa. Repeated courses on the permanent record are marked with brackets.
