Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management

Since 1986, Roberts has provided non-traditional education options for professional, adult learners who aspire to earn a bachelor's degree.  The B.S. in Organizational Management is a degree completion program offered in a convenient format, allowing working students to attain their educational goals.  Graduates have a solid grounding in management theory including systems, change management, finance, strategic planning, project management, and research for problem-solving.  Equally important, they learn how to lead by coaching, inspiring, supporting, and encouraging their teams.  They become effective communicators with both writing and presentation skills.  Students can earn their degrees in as few as fifteen months, attending class one evening per week or online.  The degree program continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the students and the workplace.

Bachelor of Science in Health Administration

This program is designed for healthcare professionals from all areas of the healthcare industry.  Clinical and non-clinical employees who hold an A.A. or A.A.S. degree in health and human service related professions will find the curriculum suited to their personal and professional needs.  A pathway also exists for traditional undergraduate students to transfer into this program during their junior year. The curriculum takes a system-oriented, broad approach to health administration that can be applied in any healthcare organization.  The program provides a rich, diverse learning environment where clinical and business workers, across the healthcare spectrum, can study together and learn from one another.

Bachelor of Science in Public Health

The undergraduate degree-completion program in public health will lead to a Bachelor of Science degree.  The program is modeled upon the existing degree completion program. This major is an option for students seeking a multi-disciplinary approach to promoting health and wellness with a focus on program development and leadership.  The program is intended to provide practical information and analytical skills but with a liberal arts foundation.  The program's educational objectives foster critical thinking, analysis, and enable recognition of the historical, current, and future trends in public health and health care delivery, including an introduction to disease control and health promotion intervention and determinants of health from a global perspective.

Master of Science in Health Administration

Clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals can earn an M.S. in Health Administration in eighteen months, attending class one night a week.  The curriculum is an innovative and contemporary blend of health administration and business coursework and focuses on community-minded service leadership.  At the end of the program, students have the opportunity to interact with local healthcare executives in a consultation activity designed to provide the healthcare organization with answers to pressing questions, providing research data, opportunity exploration, or project development.  The consultation creates a vibrant opportunity for students to apply their knowledge through service to the community and the healthcare organization.

Master of Science in Public Health

The Master of Science Public Health (MSPH) program prepares students for leadership roles in public health emphasizing the values, traits, knowledge, and competencies needed by public health professionals as emerging leaders working in the healthcare sector.  The program is modeled after existing non-traditional, accelerated programs and delivers a creative academic experience for working professionals.  Students will be required to critically examine how biological, behavioral, social, and environmental factors affect a population’s health. Students will learn how to address these factors through the creation and evaluation of programs and policies designed to improve health in diverse communities and populations. Our program helps students to explore timely public health and policy issues while providing a strong foundation in population health science.  The program leads to a professional MSPH degree focused on the public health core knowledge and emerging areas in Public Health, Epidemiology, Quantitative and Qualitative Public Health Sciences, Health Policy, Leadership, Project Management, and Advocacy.

Master of Science in Strategic Leadership

The Master of Science in Strategic Leadership Program is a unique advanced degree program that equips emerging leaders to provide ethical fortitude, inspiring vision, strategic agility, business acumen, humble service, and a capacity to build effective teams, organizations, and communities.  It is a cutting-edge and challenging program where developing managers and leaders can engage the faculty, staff, and students from a diverse cross-section of industries and organizational segments that include entrepreneurial start-ups, fortune 500 companies, not-for-profit, government, church, military, and other organizations…emerging only seventeen months later as scholar-practitioners that are equipped with the new knowledge and skills necessary to create significant value for themselves and their organizations. This is The Next Generation Graduate Business Degree.

This program is built upon proven adult learning techniques, offering a high quality, cohort-based, time-shortened approach to education at the graduate level. The curriculum includes a solid mix of leadership, management, and professional education, with an emphasis on application of theory to the work environment. Classes are scheduled one night weekly, online, or Saturday mornings with a period of just seventeen months to completion. This program is offered on campus, at several off-campus locations, and online, with groups starting throughout the year.  Admission to this program is open to both experienced professionals and a select but limited number of early-career professionals who are interested in sharpening their leadership skills.

A pathway also exists for students graduating with an undergraduate degree in business to complete this master's degree in one additional year of study.

Master of Science in Strategic Marketing

The Master of Science in Strategic Marketing Program is a unique advanced degree program that meets the needs of professionals working in the fields of marketing, advertising, sales, communications, customer service, public relations, etc.  This program is designed to advance professionals in these fields, as well as equip individuals wishing to redirect their careers. Students are exposed to some of the most contemporary and value-added learning in the field, culminating in an advanced graduate credential that celebrates the attainment of high-level scholar-practitioner competence.  Students are exposed to a broad spectrum of marketing theory and practice, including strategic marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, creative marketing, and message strategy, strategic digital marketing, marketing research, marketing planning and assessment, public relations, and advertising.  Global and ethical perspectives are integrated into the curriculum.  All students leverage their research in emerging marketing theory and practice into a strategic marketing plan for a local client during their capstone experience.
