Sports Management & Marketing Minor

18 hours as follows:

  • SMM 101-Introduction to Sports Management & Marketing
  • SMM 201-Principles of Sports Marketing
  • SMM 202-Principles of Sports Management
  • SMM 250-Emerging Issues in Sports Management & Marketing
  • 6 additional credits from: MKT upper level coursework (e.g. MKT 340 Advertising, MKT 345 Consumer Behavior, SMM 325 & 450 3-credit Prep/Internship) or MGT upper level coursework (e.g. MGT 390 Project Management, MGT 402 Managerial Toolbox). Students may take both classes in MKT, MGT or one of each. Students who elect to take an Internship (SMM450) MUST ALSO take SMM 325 Internship Prep which together is a 3-credit commitment.
