Minor

Minor in Art

The minor in art (including photography, digital media art, and graphic design) consists of at least 18 semester hours.

Students are required to take two (2) of the four (4) Foundations courses (ART 102, 103, 104, and 105). The balance of the art minor may be filled with studio electives or art history courses (12 credits).

Students choosing a minor in art (Studio 2D & 3D, Graphic Design, Photography or Digital Media Art)  should check prerequisites for advanced courses and work with the instructors to establish a sequential course of study.

NOTE: The two (2) Foundation courses should be passed before enrolling in other studio courses.
