Gender Studies

The Gender Studies minor requires 18 hours of courses representing a number of academic disciplines. Current offerings include such courses as SGEN 2050-Gender and Society, SGEN 3000-Special Topics in Women’s Studies, COMM/SGEN 3303-Communication and Gender, HIST/SGEN 3013-Women in Church History, NRSG/SGEN 3780-Women’s Health Issues, PSYC/SGEN 3010-Psychology of Gender, PSYC/SOCS/SGEN 2020-Human Sexuality, and THEO/SGEN 2050-Theology and Gender. Additional courses are being created. Students should consult with the Department of Language and Literature for further information.
