Management & Social Entrepreneurship, B.S.
[Management and Social Entrepreneurship – 0506]
The Management & Social Entrepreneurship Major prepares students to be effective leaders in multiple organizational contexts (entrepreneurial ventures, non-profit organizations, and both small and large corporations). In addition to developing strong management and leadership skills, Management and Social Entrepreneurship majors will learn to apply entrepreneurial business solutions to pressing social issues. Graduates gain skills that are growing in demand, as corporations work with other organizations to effect healthy business practices that promote care for people and the planet along with profit through our free-enterprise system. The major builds on a strong general education foundation with coursework in core business disciplines (management, accounting, marketing, finance, economics, and information systems), as well as specialized courses in management and social entrepreneurship.
