Freshman Admission
Minimum requirements for regular admission:
- High School Grade Point Average (GPA): 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Note: Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Requests for additional testing, recommendations, and/or an interview may be made before an admission decision is rendered.
To apply for regular admission, please submit the following:
- The Common Application or the Roberts Rapid App
- Official high school and/or college transcripts.
- Optional:
- SAT, ACT, or CLT scores
- HS Teacher Recommendations
Test-Optional Admission - Roberts does not require SAT or ACT test scores.
All applications and documents become the property of Roberts Wesleyan University upon submission and cannot be returned to the student or forwarded to another institution.
Provisional Admission - Provisional admission allows Roberts to admit students who do not meet regular admissions standards. There is a limited number of provisional admission offers made each year.
Minimum requirements for provisional admission:
- High School GPA 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
To apply for provisional admission, please submit the following:
- The Common Application or the free Roberts Rapid App.
- Official high school and/or college transcripts.
- Optional:
- SAT, ACT, or CLT scores
- HS Teacher Recommendation
Students admitted through the provisional admission process are required to sign an Academic Promise committing to use the Learning Center tutoring and mentoring services, follow success-driven requirements, and meet with their academic advisor.
Provisional Mentor Admission - In very rare cases, there may be circumstances in which a student is admitted under the Provisional Mentor status.
Minimum requirements for provisional mentor admission:
- High school GPA: 2.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

- Official high school and/or college transcripts.
- Optional:
- SAT, ACT, or CLT scores
- HS Teacher Recommendation
Students admitted through the provisional mentor admission process are required to sign an Academic Promise committing to use the Learning Center tutoring and mentoring services, follow success-driven requirements, and meet with their designated academic mentor.
