Procedures for Students
A student who feels falsely accused of violating academic integrity policy should:
- Attempt to resolve the situation with the faculty member
- If the matter remains unresolved, the student should discuss the situation with the faculty member's Department Chair
- Request a meeting (within ten business days** of being informed of the incident by a faculty member) with the Academic Integrity Committee, accompanied by a person of choice if desired. The Academic Integrity Committee will hear the case and determine the validity of the violation.
- Appeal decision of the Academic Integrity Committee through the Chief Academic Officer (within ten business days**)
**Ten business days refers to ten days when the College offices are open.
