ESOL Minor
The minor in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) consists of 4 core courses and 2 additional courses chosen from a list of electives. The minor also requires 50 hours of practicum experience (fieldwork). Twenty-five of the 50 hours would be met through the fieldwork hours completed when taking TEDU 3820. The other 25 hours could be met through taking another course (e.g., TEDU 3580, TEDU 3590, or TEDU 3940) or as a stand-alone practicum.

- TEDU 3820 Methods of Instruction & Assessment for English Language Learners (3) – Note: only education majors will be placed in school settings to meet the fieldwork requirement.
