Cooperative Education Program

Cooperative Education is a work experience program for sophomore and junior students which helps them clarify career goals and provides assistance toward the cost of college. Students alternate classroom study with work experience. More information on this program is available in the Office of Career Planning and Placement.

Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)

Roberts Wesleyan College students may participate in the Army or Air Force ROTC at Rochester Institute of Technology. These are elective courses that prepare students for leadership in civilian or military careers. The programs consist of classroom instruction, practical application laboratories, and physical fitness training designed to enhance organizational leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Details concerning the classes and scholarships may be obtained by contacting the offices directly.

Rochester Area Colleges Cross Registration

Full-time undergraduate students (12 semester hours or more) at Roberts Wesleyan College may cross register at a number of Rochester area colleges without applying for admission to that college. The course selected must not be offered at Roberts Wesleyan College, and it must be an integral part of the student’s program. Details and registration forms are available in the Office of Registration. Grades received in these courses are computed in the student’s record.
