Campus Safety
The College provides Licensed Security Officers 24 hours per day. These officers provide a wide array of services for students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors. These services include but are NOT limited to:
- Responding to emergency calls
- Responding to non-emergency assistance calls
- Patroling walks, roads, and lots on campus
- Checking and securing campus buildings and facilities
- Enforcing traffic and parking regulations
- Enforcing all administrative policies, especially: Title IX & Sexual Assualt, Non-Discrimination & Non-Harassment policies
- Performing fire safety inspections
- Planning and implementing emergency drills
- Maintaining incident and crime reports, such as the annual Clery Report
- Working with Student Development personnel to create an excellent student life experience
- Assisting local law enforcement with criminal investigations
- The Advisory Committee on Campus Safety will provide, upon request, all campus crime statistics as reported to the United States Department of Education. These statistics can be viewed at the Department of Education’s web site (http://ope.ed.gov/security/) or by contacting Campus Safety at 585.594.7777.
Automobiles
All automobiles must be registered with the Office of Campus Safety each semester in which the student is in attendance.
