Re-Enrollment
Students who have submitted a non-continuation form and want to return to Roberts must request permission to return by filing the Roberts Rapid Application and selecting the re-enroll status option. A request to re-enroll is not automatically approved. The decision will be based on the student's entire academic record, previous college involvements and achievements, and other life circumstances since leaving the Roberts.
The Office of Admissions will notify the offices of Student Life, Registration Office, Student Financial Services and Nursing (if applicable) of the re-enroll request and collect their input to determine the student's eligibility to return in good standing.
In cases where the student left involuntarily, the review will include determining whether appropriate activities, treatments, and/or personal growth has occurred to warrant another opportunity for the student to attend Roberts. There are some cases in which the Office of Student Life may choose to meet with the student or consult with appropriate professionals before making a final decision. In cases of denial, the student may appeal to the Admissions Committee.
Students who leave for two or more semesters (summer excluded) must meet the requirements of the current catalog at the time of return and reapply to the major if applicable. Returning students who have completed a minimum of 30 semester hours at Roberts and have been away for two semesters may (summer excluded) exercise the option to have grades of D and F purged from their transcript. For information regarding the purging of traditional undergraduate academic record, contact the Registration Office.
Second Degree Students
Students who have obtained a degree and want to return to Roberts to complete a second degree must apply through the re-enroll application process as stated above. If a student is seeking admission into the Nursing program will have their academic coursework evaluated under the same admissions requirements as Nursing transfers.
